People Against Transmission Hell-Lines LLC

This is a picture of a High Voltage Transmission Line.  Allegheny Power and American Electric Power are trying to gain status from the West Virginia Service Commission as a "public utility" so that they can exercise eminent domain and take private property by force in order to erect towers like these.  They care nothing for the people living near the lines in regards to EMF radiation, childhood leukemia, malignant melanoma, certain types of cancers, sleep disturbances and other negative health issues.   An Allegheny Power rep was even quoted at a PATH meeting saying "we are coming through whether anyone likes it or not."

These power companies show no respect for the heritage of this state, the landscape and ecosystem, and the private property of landowners - many of which have held land for centuries.

And why are these towers needed you may ask?  To run cheap electricity from a coal fired plant to northern states.  None of this electricity is for WV.  We do however get the negative health effects, the ruined landscape and higher electric bills.

Way to go Governor Manchin.  Moron.  Sell Out.

Here is a picture of a Coal Fired Electric Plant.  See the smoke and steam billowing out?  That isn't even the worst of it.  See the towers with no steam or smoke?  They are churning and spewing out toxins invisible to the naked eye.  It is these toxins that cause sickness, birth defects, kidney problems, etc.  These are being pumped into the air for the local residents to breathe.  I guess since they can't see them it doesn't matter though.

Residents:  Noticing any odd health issues?  Are your children developing normally?  Are you sure?  Does it seem like alot of people in  your area have the same illness?  Strange isn't it?

Again..kudos to you Governor Manchin.
